K-pop 그룹 ATEEZ의 멤버 산(SAN)의 솔로곡 "Creep" 애니메이션을 작업했습니다.
관능적이고 무거운 곡의 분위기를 표현하기 위해 블랙과 레드를 메인 컬러로 사용하였고 거친 회화적 터치를 더했습니다.
가사 내용을 반영해 오브젝트의 형태를 전부 드러내기보다는 일부만 보여 주어 은밀한 분위기를 강조했으며,
퍼포먼스에서 중요한 요소로 사용된 연기를 애니메이션에도 포함시켜 퍼포먼스와 영상 간의 연결성을 강화했습니다.
We worked on the animation for “Creep,” the solo track by SAN of the K-pop group ATEEZ.
To reflect the song’s sensual and heavy atmosphere, we used a rough,
painterly style with black and red as the primary colors.
Inspired by the lyrics, we revealed only fragments of each object rather than showing their full forms,
giving the visuals an intimate, secretive tone.
We also incorporated smoke—one of the key elements in the song’s performance—into the animation
to create a stronger connection between the choreography and the visual narrative.
Synopsis
흑표범 동상이 있는 어두운 바에 혼자 있는 남자. 칵테일을 만드는 그의 모습에서 흑표범의 잔상이 언뜻 비친다.
동상이었던 흑표범이 생명을 얻어 남자에게 다가오고 마치 칵테일처럼 남자와 흑표범이 섞이기 시작한다.
마침내 자신 안에 있던 흑표범을 받아들인 남자.
어느새 시간은 약속했던 4시 5분이 지나고, 남자도 흑표범의 모습도 보이지 않는 텅 빈 바에는 한 잔의 칵테일만이 남아있다.
In a dimly lit bar adorned with a black panther statue, a man stands alone.
As he prepares a cocktail, fleeting traces of a panther appear around him.
The statue comes to life, approaching the man, and the two begin to blend together—like ingredients mixing in a drink.
Ultimately, the man embraces the black panther that has always lived within him.
By the time the clock passes the promised 4:05, both the man and the panther have vanished.
In the empty bar, only a single glass of cocktail remains.
